Saba Butt is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of New York and New Jersey. Saba has worked with diverse client populations in community mental health settings and in-home behavioral support services. She has experience providing individual and family therapy with adults and adolescents. Saba has worked with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, interpersonal issues, and trauma.

Her areas of interest include women’s mental health, religious/spiritual identity exploration, and the immigrant experience. She is also working towards her Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C), which allows her to assist mothers, fathers, birthing individuals, and families experiencing mood and anxiety disorders during pregnancy and up to a year postpartum, as well as those who have experienced birth trauma and/or perinatal loss.

Saba utilizes evidence-based practices, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behavioral Activation (BA), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She believes in an integrated therapy approach that creates a personalized treatment plan for each individual’s needs, allows for flexibility, and emphasizes rapport building. Saba aims to establish a safe and collaborative environment for clients where they can pursue self-exploration and employ their existing potential.
